  • YOM HASHOAH SCREENINGS

    Through our community partnerships Katahdin aims to co-host more than 300 community screenings of Blessed Is the Match on Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) in 2009. Contact us to request a free preview copy of the film and to begin planning your event. When possible, cast and crew members attend screenings and participate in Q&As. Our viewer discussion guide and event planning tips are available in print and online to help you have a successful event.

    EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVE

    Through a partnership with Facing History and Ourselves thousands of middle and high school students across the country will be introduced to Hannah’s story of resistance and action. An eight-page study guide and 2-page Jewish day school supplement will be available in July 2008.     Through an expanded website students and audiences around the world will be able to share their reactions to the film and Hannah’s life as well as engage with the filmmakers.
